Darrin started out in construction at the early age of eleven, working along side his dad doing drywall in Park City. Using his skill-set, he started his own drywall company, DL Drywall, LLC. And that is where he originally met Doug. During this time, he invented a drywall machine and had to design the mechanical components to operate it. In order to do this, he had to learn to draw in 3D scale. He soon fell in love with the design process and started focusing more on residential 3D models designs. He then started DreamsRendered, LLC on the side and worked with several general contractors in Park City doing 3D rendering for new construction and renovations. Soon after he and Doug decided they would partner up full time, where they would start designing and renovating homes around Park City, Utah.
Jenn (formally Jenn Murray) started her career in Construction Management in 2006, after leaving a successful eight (8) year property management career. While working for a well known Park City builder, she built her knowledge and understanding of client contracts, budgets, project scheduling and interior finish selections. She was also able to build relationships with the subcontractors to establish an amazing team that she still works with today. She loves to be apart of the design process of the project and building ideas on all materials. Much like her counterpart, Jenn has embarked on a journey to design and renovate.
LGD Construction leads and works with a tight-knit team of experienced, licensed and insured subcontractors, who put quality first in everything they do.
A little history about the company name:
We honor a good friend that passed away. His name: Doug Graybill.
He was the REAL DEAL. He was smart, funny, artistic, not fake, music lover and very passionate about his work as a General Contractor. He was a true friend. So when Doug passed on, we felt it was important to carry on his legacy and add his name to the new company name. The large faded "D" is what we hope to be Doug watching over us. Reminding us to let the little things go, be true to ourselves and others, always have fun and to always keep the highest standard in quality and integrity in all our projects.
